Ticket Prices: $20 – $30

Performed just in time for the holiday season, Hansel and Gretel was based on a Grimms Brothers fairy tale. It is admired for its themes inspired by folk music, one of the most famous being the Abendsengen (Evening Benediction). Humperdinck composed the opera which debuted in 1893 under the baton of Richard Strauss. This enduring creation features a scheming witch, a children’s chorus and even a ballet of animals – plus that amazing gingerbread house in the forest that kids of all ages only dream about. A special holiday treat for the whole family!
