OLV’s popular school Informance (Information+Performance) program will hit the road again for two weeks in April. A quintet of Young Artists will set up modest scenery and don colorful costumes, and as a narrator helps tell the story of Rossini’s operatic version of “Cinderella,” the singers will perform famous musical selections in English to piano accompaniment. The Informance format introduces students to operatic singing, and helps teach them about the art form in a highly accessible format. Last year this program reached over 2,700 students in the Clark County School District.
