OLV Resident Voices Auditions!
Whether you’re interested in chorus work or being considered for roles, if you live in Las Vegas, this is your chance to be part of something that’s growing.
January 31 | 1:00–4:00 PM
Sierra Vista High School – Choir Room

"Resident Voices is one big Opera Las Vegas family. It’s more than a chorus: it’s a roster of local singers I want to know, hear, and grow with. As Opera Las Vegas continues its path of change and growth, I want to identify the incredible voices right here in our valley, whether for mainstage roles, new recital series, or future artistic opportunities.
This model comes from my time at Opera Idaho, and it works. Opera Las Vegas has the potential to be a strong regional opera company and, just as importantly, a musical home: a place of learning, opportunity, and community for singers who want to be heard. When we invest in local artists, OLV grows stronger."

A New Season. A New Chapter.
Welcome to Opera Las Vegas’s 2025–26 Season!

As I step into my first season as General Director and CEO, I’m thrilled to invite you on a journey of bold storytelling, timeless music, and unforgettable performances. From Mozart’s beloved Le Nozze di Figaro to the emotional intensity of I Pagliacci—starring acclaimed tenor Ben Gulley—this season celebrates opera’s power to move, connect, and inspire.
We’re also spreading holiday cheer with a joyful double bill: Amahl and the Night Visitors and the playful Four Lost Santas. Every production, concert and event this season reflects the beauty, diversity, and vitality of the world around us.
Join us for a season full of possibility, passion, and the magic of live opera. The future of Opera Las Vegas begins now—and we’re so glad you’re part of it.

Opera Las Vegas Youth Chorus
Young voices take the stage

The Opera Las Vegas Youth Chorus was founded in 2017 in collaboration with Thurman White Academy under the direction of Athena Mertes, and made their first appearances in the touring fairy tale opera, John Davies' Pinocchio.
In the fall of that year, they were the animals on the ark in Benjamin Britten's Noah's Flood, with full orchestra. Since then, more fairy tale opera tours ensued to entertain young families with opera-inspired stories like Three Little Pigs, Jack and the Beanstalk, and The Bremen Town Musicians. The group twice participated in Humperdinck's classic, Hansel and Gretel, and were on stage with Metropolitan Opera stars in 2022 Main Stage production of Puccini's Tosca.
